Personalised Employment Pass (PEP) Scheme
The government of Singapore has introduced Personalized Employment Pass (PEP) Scheme with a vision to encourage global talent or resource to work in Singapore. The key advantage of this pass is that a PEP pass holder is not bound under any specific employer and can switch jobs without having to apply new work pass.
The Personalized Employment Pass (PEP) is a special kind of pass issued to top-tier foreign professionals willing to work and stay in Singapore. This pass is issued based on the merits of an individual rather than the employer in Singapore. The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) allows the PEP holder to switch jobs in Singapore without applying for any other visa and can stay upto 6 months in Singapore looking for new career opportunities after having left the previous job.
